Project Summary
The project involves the development of a comprehensive infrastructure system for SPJ, incorporating both offshore and onshore components designed to support extensive container and berth.
These structures are engineered to accommodate container vessels with a capacity of up to 1,000 (TEU) container vessel and sulphur ships size with a dead weight tonnage (DWT) ranging from 5,000 to 32,000, and a draft of 10.8 meters.
Project Details
- Generally, SPJ components / facilities comprises :-
- Offshore: Trestle, Container Berths, Sulphur Berth
- Onshore: Container stacking yard, trailers and multi-trailers parking, Buildings, Infrastructure and other associated facilities
- Sulphur Handling System: Sulphur Warehouse, Conveyor and Handling Equipment for both Onshore/Offshore and other associated facilities
design parameters
- Design Live Load: 70 – 100 kN/m²
- Crane loads: 250T
- 300,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) and 460,000 Ton of Sulphur per year.
- It is designed for 1,000 TEU container vessel and sulphur ship size range of 5,000 to 32,000 Dead Weight Tonnage (DWT) with draft of 10.8m
