Project Summary
JARO (Johor Area Rehabilitation Organisation), in collaboration with renowned architect Jimmy Lim of CSL Associates, commissioned SYS to construct a distinctive building designed to showcase the handicrafts and artwork created by individuals with physical and mental disabilities. The project, situated on Lot TLO 212, Jalan Sungei Chat, Johor Bahru.
This 3-storey Handicraft Centre comprises 2 retail areas, 2 multi-purpose sport centre and a food court for a total of 8,000 sq.m. It is a reinforced concrete structure with steel roof truss and draped in steel metal deck covering.
