The primary objective was to excavate and remove soil and rock from the seabed to create a berthing pocket suitable for load-out barges and vessels up to -10 meters Chart Datum (CD). Given the concurrent operations at the shipyard, SYS had to ensure uninterrupted access to the site for ongoing activities, including load-out and fabrication. The dredging involved removing a total of 240,477 cubic meters of material, with rock samples tested and determined to require blasting due to their hardness.
